Idealistic musicians once believed a protest song could change the world. Silly fools. Paul Kantner and his out-of-date brethren in this classical rock band�s current card apparently still possess that optimism. Longtime Starship fans will regain no �Miracles� or �We Built This City� in this assembling of largely traditional, �60s-folk-oriented songs popularized by such giants as the Weavers, Fairport Convention and Phil Ochs. But why listen to �Tree of Liberty� when the mind-bending originals are promptly available. The one exception, �Imagine Redemption,� is a winning mashup of love songs by John Lennon and Bob Marley. That�s the one to download. -
